You booked your Augusta senior pictures with me and now it’s time to get ready for your session! I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait!! I promise this experience will be so much fun and a total adventure. However, there is a bit of prep work that goes into senior pictures. Here is what you can do to prepare for senior pictures!

Calendar & Custom Timeline

As soon as you book with me, save the date! Make sure your session date and time are on your calendar. In addition, I will be in contact with you about two weeks before your senior session to send you over the timeline for your photoshoot. During this time you will also have access to the Client Lounge, which provides outfit ideas, wardrobe guide, and what to expect through the process. Helping you be prepared for the fun that is to come!!

Outfit Prep!

A few days before your senior pictures lay out all your outfits! Make sure they are all clean, dry, and wrinkle free. I always recommend keeping your outfits on hangers and out of the way so that they wont get lost or dirty. This will eliminate stress and help you feel confident going into your photoshoot!! In addition, be sure to plan out your accessories for each outfit. That is, if you’d like to change them for each outfit.

If you are planning on using any props like instruments, medals, sports balls, flowers, and so on. Then be sure you have all of those items gathered, cleaned and ready to go!!

Appointments

To prepare for senior pictures, schedule all of your appointments at about a week beforehand! This includes your hair cut/color, nails, eyebrows, tanning (don’t forget to use the mhp discount with The Spray Bar!). A good rule of thumb is to start booking these appointments as soon as you book your senior session with me. This will give you time to find the salons you love as well as get in on their schedule!!

The Day Of Your Session

It’s the day of your Augusta Senior session, and we are ready for you!! Come to your hair and makeup appointment with clean, dry, bare face and hair. No makeup or products on. Also, where a shirt that is easy to take off, so your hair and makeup stays perfectly intact!! A great option for this is a button down shirt, so that nothing it being pulled over your head. Then you will arrive at your first location wearing your first outfit of the day!
