Senior pictures document one of the most exciting times in your life! Graduating from high school into adulthood is a big deal, and deserves to be captured. But sometimes coming up with how you want your senior photos to look can be difficult. That is why I am sharing my favorite senior picture ideas for guys as an Augusta photographer. These are ideas that are simple and can be accomplished by anyone!!

Embrace Your Talents

Whether you play a sport, are part of the band, or lead a school club. Incorporate that talent and passion into your senior pictures! After all, these photos are meant to represent you!! You can bring your uniform, instrument, medals or whatever else you feel represents this part of your life. Although we wont use these props in every picture, they will add some variety to your gallery as well as an extra personal touch!!

Wear What Makes You Feel Confident!

The number one tip I can give for any type of photography is to be yourself! Don’t try to dress with the current trend, or wear something that you normally wouldn’t. Wear something special that makes you feel comfortable and confident! Because in the end, we want your senior photos to reflect your confidence at this stage of life.

Switch Up Your Location

As an Augusta photographer I will provide two locations for your senior session. These spots can be my recommendations, but are ultimately up to you! Within those locations we will switch up the backdrops of your gallery by moving spots often. This will provide you with more variety in your gallery, as well as keep the session up beat and fun!!

Act Natural

Of all the senior picture ideas for guys, this one may be the most difficult! Acting natural during a photoshoot is hard for everyone. And don’t worry if it takes you a minute to get to a comfortable and natural place. As your Augusta senior photographer I will help break the ice, give you prompts and poses, and direct you with what to do with your hands!! Giving you senior pictures that are perfectly you!

The pictures that you will like best in your gallery will be the ones that scream with personality! They will be the images that you felt most confident taking. Allowing all of your excitement to shine through. So be yourself and just enjoy the few hours we will have to capture your senior year!
